Hello World (Again)

I'm back on this blog. I'm bringing back this old blog to talk about how and why I lost weight. Also as incentive not to regain it. If I do, then this blog will stand as a warning to others-- now not to lose weight.

I'm 5'10.5" tall with rather short long bones. My inseam is 32 inches puts me in the lower range of leg lengths. My wife only 5 foot 2 wears an inseam of 30 inseam and my son an inch shorter than me wears 34 inch inseams. So I have a lot of torso.

On January 1 of 2012
  • I weighed myself at 232 lbs
  • I was at 235 lbs just prior, I'd been trying to trim down. 
  • I presently weigh about 188 lbs, so I've lost nearly 50 lbs. 
  • I lost the first 2 lbs I didn't count them, making my 50 lbs original goal about 8 lbs away. Originally I planned to lose only 50 lbs by the end of August 2012,  but it now I feel I can lose 55 lbs by June 30. 
 This blog is to tell you how I did it.
